Appalachian Mountain Club
At AMC, connecting you to the freedom and exhilaration of the outdoors is our calling. We invite and help people of all ages and abilities to explore and develop a deep appreciation of the natural world. AMC helps you get outdoors on your own, with family and friends, and through activities close to home and beyond. With chapters from Maine to Washington, D.C., including groups in Boston, New York City, and Philadelphia, you can enjoy activities like hiking, paddling, cycling, and skiing, and learn new outdoor skills. We offer advice, guidebooks, maps, and unique lodges and huts to inspire your next outing. You will also have the opportunity to support our conservation advocacy and research, youth programming, and work maintaining 1,800 miles of trails. We invite you to join us in the outdoors.
Our Mission
Founded in 1876, the Appalachian Mountain Club promotes the protection, enjoyment, and understanding of the mountains, forests, waters, and trails of America’s Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
We believe these resources have intrinsic worth and also provide recreational opportunities, spiritual renewal, and ecological and economic health for the region. Because successful conservation depends on active engagement with the outdoors, we encourage people to experience, learn about, and appreciate the natural world.

Bethlehem Country Club
Golf, Recreation
Municipal 18 hole golf course.
Bethlehem Country Club was designed in the days when hickory shafted clubs were the norm. At a little under 6000 yards BCC is a relatively short layout when compared to some of today's 7200-yard monsters. However, the small "Rossian" greens with their challenging topography provided plenty of challenges for the novice and expert alike.
BCC has hosted tournaments for the NHPGA, NHGHA and NHWGA. We are proud of our ability to offer a championship venue for the top levels of competition in our region, yet remain the type of playable golf course that the novice and purely recreational golfer can feel comfortable on. Outstanding playing conditions on a traditional, timeless design make for a memorable golf experience at Bethlehem Country Club.
Address:
Directions:
From I-93 North or South, take Exit 40 to East (turn right off exit ramp) toward Bethlehem. Course is about 2.5 miles from the exit ramp on the left at the top of a long hill.
From North Conway, take West through Bartlett, Bretton Woods, Twin Mt to Bethlehem. Course is about 1/2 mile outside of Bethlehem Center (westend) on the right.

Littleton Bike & Fitness
Recreation, Retail, Sports
We carry bikes for two year olds and bikes for high end cyclists, strider bikes to snazzy carbon race bikes and everything in between. Bikes from Specialized, Cannondale, Haro, Eastern or full custom from Gunnar, Waterford, Seven, or Co-Motion. We do about an equal amount of road to MTB business. We typically stock about 70 different models and maintain a rental fleet of road bikes, MTB bikes and hybrids. We are also a Specialized FSR test center and have 29r Epics and Cambers on hand to demo. Our store is big and open, not crammed. It has 18' ceilings and utilizes about 8000 total sq feet. It is free standing with plenty of parking on street and a big lot in the rear. Our shop is also right on the Ammonoosuc River in the heart of downtown. There is a new path called the Riverwalk which goes right through the property and feeds into the Ammonoosuc Rail Trail. The Ammonoosuc Rail Trail a 19 mile long rail trail in Littleton and folks are welcome to use my parking lot as a trail head.
We have also been selling and servicing quality indoor fitness equipment from Vision Fitness, LifeFitness, and True Fitness for over 20 years. We know our equipment and won’t sell you something that makes outlandish promises. Our saying is “the best piece of indoor exercise equipment is one that you will use”. We have models on the floor for you to try before you buy and we offer delivery and set up within 25 miles for free.
Our goal is to be everyone's favorite bike and fitness shop, not necessarily the cheapest but the best! The one that they would send their friends to because they know they will get treated well and get a great value.
Bike clubs are a great way to meet new people who ride at the same level as you and it's a great way to challenge your own ability. Mt. Eustis Ski Hill
Mt. Eustis Ski Hill is located in beautiful Littleton, NH and there is a group of people dedicated to seeing it operate as a fully functional ski hill again. It opened in 1939 but shut down in the 1970's. Our vision is to have a fully lit mountain, rope-tow and small lodge on the hill. It is an affordable place for families of the surrounding communities to ski and snowboard.
