Join members from the Lincoln Woodstock, Plymouth, Franconia Notch Regional, Littleton, Pemi Valley, and Mount Washington Valley Chambers of Commerce for the Inaugural White Mountains Young Professionals Summit on Wednesday, November 5th at the Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, New Hampshire.
A keynote speaker and several workshops will address the unique challenges and opportunities young professionals face living, working, and playing in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The Young Professionals Summit is uniquely designed to provide both professionals already in the workforce and students soon to join aged 40 and under with topics that are highly relevant to their career and life stages. The Summit will give attendees an opportunity to network, listen to prominent speakers, engage in very meaningful and practical discussions about opportunity in the region, and learn about the interdependence between their professional lives and life in the White Mountains. “Finding the ideal work/life balance and learning how to network as a young professional in the White Mountains is no easy task” says Alyssa Yolda, Executive Director of the Lincoln Woodstock Chamber of Commerce, “however, by coming together we can explore this and a number of other challenges we face, while also celebrating the reasons why we choose to live in this incredible place. This summit will provide an excellent opportunity to grow professionally and personally, all while connecting with fellow young professionals from the White Mountains of New Hampshire.”
The White Mountains Young Professionals Summit will feature keynote speaker, Kate Luczko, Executive Director of Stay Work Play New Hampshire. Kate is passionate about being involved in the New Hampshire community. On an ongoing basis, she is Chair of the Board of Directors for the Manchester Young Professionals Network (MYPN), the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Granite State Ambassadors, along with many other notable boards, and volunteers throughout the state often. In 2012, Kate was appointed by Governor John Lynch to the Job Training Fund Grant Review Committee. Kate was named the Manchester Young Professionals Network (MYPN) “Young Professional of the Year,” in 2012, is part of the Union Leader’s “40 Under Forty,” Class of 2011, was named one of the “Who’s Who: Big Players of 2010” by the Hippo Press, and she is an alumna of Leadership Greater Manchester and Leadership New Hampshire. “We are extremely pleased to have the support of Stay Work Play and are excited to welcome Kate to the White Mountains Young Professional Summit,” say Lauren Anderson, Executive Director of the Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce. “Kate brings tried and true knowledge and experience of Granite State living, and all in attendance are sure to be inspired to stay, work, and play.”
